Claims of activity:
- Shadows seen in the hallway by various witnesses
- Laundry soap container has been pushed off the cabinet twice with no explanation
- Floor creaks as if someone is walking across it
- Phantom smells of both perfume and coffee
We started our investigation as normal with our EMF sweeps to determine whether or not this would be a possible cause of some of their experiences. There were no high EMF readings anywhere in the home. On one of their claims we were able to provide an alternate cause; the phantom smell of perfume seemed to actually be coming out of the walls themselves. Combined with humidity and wood swelling, these smells can be released at random times.
We received some communication that seemed to suggest that this old home was once a hotel, or what could classify as a hotel during a past time period. We are in the middle of trying to research some history to see if this statement is valid in any way.
We did not obtain any video evidence of any kind, but we did get some results while using the spirit box. Here is some of what we found:
Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC) using the spirit box:
In this clip, we hear a "hello" followed by a "tsk" sound.
In this clip, we hear a male voice, but can not distinguish.

After speaking with the client, the activity is quiet. We offered an additional investigation if the activity picks up again.
